Instead of learning this route, I recommend coming up with a faster one yourself, because either way it will take a lot of memorization. The address to enter into BizHawk RAM watch is 0646. Whenever that value changes during play, the RNG changes. Things that change the RNG: - killing an enemy - having one of those helicopter enemies on screen - every time one of the small plant enemies shoots - many different things during boss fights So if we want to keep track of the RNG, we need to control exactly how many enemies we kill in every stage (it doesn't matter WHICH enemies we kill though, unless it is helicopters/small plants (or weapon drops obviously)). We also need to get past the helicopter and plant enemies the same way every time, they need to be on screen for the same amount of time every run. And lastly we'll need to try to do every boss fight the exact same way every time. Start from a soft-reset. 1-1: Don't kill any enemies during the stage. Attack the boss asap and keep attacking to never give it a chance to get to its attack animation. Whenever it has a chance to attack, the RNG changes. The early hit is not necessary. It's important to turn around immediately at the beginning when you are entering the fight. 1-2: 1 enemy killed in total. If the previous boss fight went right, the wheel drop is guaranteed. You will learn to recognize the pattern in which the helicopter guy drops bombs, which is another way to confirm you are on the right RNG. My route takes the boss fight pretty slow, the window you have to end the fight at the right time is very big. 2-1: 1 enemy killed in total. With this route I have to manually delay a jump (before I can cross over to the second to last small plant enemy) to not get hit and fall into the water. The RNG changes rapidly during this boss fight most of the time. The only time it stays on the same value for a while is after the boss spits out a small plant, so I aim to kill the boss while the small plant is sinking towards the ground. 2-2: 2 enemies killed in total. Even though this boss fight still has a somewhat lenient window to finish it, the Pteranodon fights are the hardest to do the same way every time. 3-1: 1 enemy killed in total. I like to kill the first enemy, because with my route it drops a burger if I'm on the right RNG. I'm taking the boss fight a bit slow again (killing it on the right side) in hopes of making it more reliable. 3-2: 2 enemies killed total. The flame weapon drop is guaranteed with this route, if the egg guy is your second kill. 4-1: No enemies killed. The window to kill the boss is huge, if it is walking backwards while you kill it, you should have it. Do be careful about how many birds you kill though. 4-2: 1 enemy killed, just because it is in the way at the very end. The RNG changes a lot during the boss fight, so you need a good boss pattern in your manipulation route to have a chance to do this fight the same way every time. 5-1: No enemies killed. Same deal as previous boss fight. 5-2: No enemies killed.
